CELLISSIMO DONATIONS
Not only to we fundraise for each season's Music for Galway events, we also fundraise for our triennale cello festival, Cellissimo.
Help us bring together the big cello stars along with cellists of all ages and skill levels in Galway, to celebrate one of the most beautiful and versatile instruments in the world!
You can make a donation to Cellissimo by clicking on the Donate button on the left hand side of the page, clicking the Make a Gift link and selecting Cellissimo from the drop down menu under "Where would you like your donation to go?".
CELLISSIMO PLAYATHON

Learn that piece you always wanted to play (max. length 5 mins) and perform it in our Cellissimo Playathon in Galway on 17 May 2026.
Get your friends and family to sponsor you – if you reach €500, you’ll have earned your place on the Cellissimo Playathon programme.
If you reach €1,000 (for groups €1,500) – you will be entitled to a short masterclass on your piece with none other than Artistic Director Finghin Collins.
Parents of participants aged under 18 must give their consent and accompany them at all times.

All funds go towards the realisation of Cellissimo 2027!
If you are a taxpayer and make a gift of €250 or more, we can claim tax back on your gift that will go towards our work. For example, a gift of €1,000 from an individual could be worth an additional €449 to MfG, at no additional cost to you. We will send you an easy-to-complete form that will help us to claim the tax back from Revenue.
