The Albanian violinist Tedi Papavrami brings a virtuosic Bach-inspired solo violin programme to Galway. Two substantial works by Bach, the second Sonata and the second Partita (including the infamously demanding Chaconne) bookend a work by the Belgian composer Eugène Ysaÿe, which itself greatly resembles the style of Bach, and includes direct quotations of his music.
