Jeannette Bogado

Jeannette Bogado is a violinist from Paraguay who secured an Irish Chamber Orchestra scholarship to undertake the MA in Classical Strings Performance in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance last September 2022.

In Paraguay, she had experience playing in the National Symphony Orchestra, Asuncion Symphony Orchestra and in Chamber Music concerts. She also played concerts around Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Germany. As she’s interested in teaching, she did the Suzuki Method certification in Argentina and a Workshop for teachers in ‘El Sistema’, Venezuela.

Since she came to Ireland, she’s worked with the Luminosa String Orchestra, the National Symphony, the Irish Chamber Orchestra as well as being selected to be part of the Apprentice Scheme of the Irish Baroque Orchestra.

She loves the social impact that music has when used to connect cultures and people.
