With this concert, we look towards next May and the next edition of Cellissimo.  Star German cellist Daniel Müller-Schott – who appeared in our cello-themed concert season back in 2014 – will thrill audiences with his performance of Elgar’s evergreen Cello Concerto while conductor Anna Rakitina leads the orchestra in popular orchestral works by Grieg and Sibelius and the Irish premiere of “Overture’ by American composer Jessie Montgomery. This concert is part of the National Concert Hall’s 2026/2027 classical season.

2027 is a Cellissimo year! We shall proudly unveil our full plans on February 22nd. Watch out for the brochures and check out our website cellissimo.ie(opens in new tab) and to make sure you don’t miss anything, scan the QR code to sign up to the Cellissimo mailing list(opens in new tab).
