A feast of piano-playing to light up your Sunday afternoon – two young lions of the keyboard, both international competition winners, with curiously similar surnames. Each will give an hour-long recital with a break in between to allow you to catch your breath.
Firstly Korean Sae Yoon Chon, winner of the Dublin International Piano Competition in 2018, will delight and move us with a programme of classics by Beethoven, Liszt and Brahms. Then the Ukrainian Dmytro Choni, winner of the Santander International Piano Competition in the same year, will perform a dazzling and effervescent programme of music by Schumann, Scriabin, Debussy and Rachmaninov.
The performances will continue to be available to access and purchase for a further 72 hours from the start of the concert. They will come off-line on Wednesday 3 March at 3pm.
