The Britten Oboe Quartet, led by star oboist Nicholas Daniel, presents a typically eclectic programme including two masterpieces by Mozart and two composers with strong Irish links – Elizabeth Maconchy always considered herself an Irish composer, while Ernest Moeran spent much time in Kenmare, where he died in 1950.
As part of the MfG Encore series, a slightly shorter programme will be repeated the following evening in Headford. Click here for more details.
