Stephanie Dufresne

Stephanie Dufresne is a dancer, actor and choreographer from the West of Ireland based in Dublin. Stephanie holds a BA in Dance from the Rotterdam Dance Academy and is a graduate of the full-time programme for Screen Acting at the Bow Street Academy, Smithfield. Since graduating Stephanie has enjoyed combining her skills in a variety of productions for companies like Junk Ensemble, Protein Dance, Emma Martin/United Fall and Irish National Opera among others. In 2017 Stephanie played the lead role of Karen in Nancy Harris’ version of the Red Shoes for the Gate Theatre Dublin and Stephanie recently finished a run of Tempesta by Deirdre Kinahan for Glass Mask Theatre. Stephanie’s own work is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland and After Love, which she choreographed and performed in, debuted at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2021. Stephanie is a proud Galwegian and this is her second time collaborating with Music for Galway.
