Critically acclaimed as “three virtuosic musicians who play as one” and who “live every note” (The Guardian), the  Paddington Trio is recognised as one of its generation’s leading chamber ensembles, celebrated for its imaginative programming, refined ensemble playing, and vibrant interpretations of both core repertoire and contemporary music.

Formed in London by Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty, and American pianist Stephanie Tang, the trio first gained international attention after winning First Prize at both the Royal Over-Seas League Competition and the Parkhouse Award at Wigmore Hall. Since then, they have appeared at major venues and festivals including Wigmore Hall, King’s Place, LSO St Luke’s, Kuhmo Festival, West Cork Chamber Music Festival, TivoliVredenburg, Festival Flanders Ghent, and Internacional Festival Cervantino.

The trio has collaborated with artists including Michael Collins, Philip Setzer, and Tiler Peck, and currently holds ensemble residencies at ProQuartet in Paris and the Reina Sofía International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid.

Highlights of the 2026/27 season include debuts at Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Lucerne Chamber Music Society, and Helsinki Seriös, alongside the release of their debut PENTATONE album, Freakshow, in 2027.
