Daniel Müller-Schott is one of the world's most sought-after cellists and can be heard on the most renowned international concert stages. For many years he has inspired his audience as an ambassador of classical music in the 21st century. The New York Times praises his "intense expressiveness" and describes him as "a fearless player with outstanding technique".

Highlights of Daniel Müller-Schott's 2026/27 season include concerts with the Orchestre National de France under Cristian Măcelaru, with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester under Andris Poga, the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Edward Gardner, as well as the season opening of La Scala in Milan with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano under Marko Letonja. Further concert highlights by Daniel Müller-Schott will follow with the Katowice Radio Orchestra (NOSPR) and Gilbert Varga, with Het Residentie Orkest under Jun Märkl, the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra under Tomáš Hanus, the Prague Philharmonia under Emmanuel Villaume and with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra under Kerem Hasan, the Sevilla Symphony Orchestra under Eun Sun Kim and the Parma Filarmonica Toscanini under Kent Nagano.

In June 2027, Daniel Müller-Schott will serve as Chairman of the Jury for the newly established Danish International Cello Competition 2027, in its inaugural edition. The Vevey Spring Classic Festival, which Daniel Müller-Schott founded together with conductor Wilson Hermanto, will enter its 6th edition in 2027 – and will celebrate two special anniversaries: the 150th birthday of Pablo Casals and Daniel Müller-Schott's own 50th birthday.
