John O’Conor, piano

BEETHOVEN
Sonata in C minor Op. 10 No. 1
Sonata in C minor Op. 13 “Pathétique”
Six Bagatelles Op. 126
Sonata in C sharp minor Op. 27 No. 2 “Moonlight”

To mark his 80th birthday, pianist John O’Conor presents four works by the composer with whom he is most associated – Ludwig van Beethoven – also marking 200 years since that great titan’s death. Two of the composer’s most popular sonatas are juxtaposed with an early sonata and the very late Bagatelles.
