Jack Scullion is a Dublin and Galway based Costume and Set Designer, with his roots in NUIG DramSoc and hails from a family of visual artists. Jack studied theatre and performance at the National University of Ireland Galway, theatre design at the University of California Santa Barbara, and completed his Master of Fine Art degree in Stage Design at The Lir.
His recent credits include set and costume design for Summer and Smoke at The Lir, set and costume design for Hamlet with The Gaiety School of Acting, costume design for ANÚ Production’s Faultline , and set and costume design for LadyBud’s production of I See You. Jack has also worked extensively with Clonmel based company Stagecraft (Pests, Hero’s Choice, Spring Awakening, The Fight and Little Shop of Horrors) and Galway based company Cúisle Productions (Brick Wall Theatre)( Blood on the Moon, The Messiness of Human Relationships and Arbitration) . Jack has also worked as a costume assistant in The Abbey Theatre ( Ulysses and Let the Right One In) , costume assistant for Niamh Lunny and Joan O’Clery, visual merchandiser for The White Company, interior designer for Bodytonic and crew for the Galway International Arts Festival.
